HER STORY

Nicole Brewer is an award winning broadcast journalist, who spent the past ten years working as an anchor/reporter for CBS 3 in Philadelphia.

Nicole joined CBS 3 in April, 2008 as local television’s first digital journalist, reporting primarily for the station’s website. She was later promoted to general assignment reporter, then anchor for the weekend morning newscasts. She also anchored and reported for the 5, 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts.

Before joining CBS 3, Nicole had been a feature reporter and producer at PBS 39 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. While there, she helped write, produce and report on “Kids and Gangs: A Tempo Special Report,” which won a Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award.

She was then recognized by the Associated Press for her feature, “Parents on Facebook” and recently nominated for another Mid-Atlantic Emmy for her feature, “Modern Day Marshmallow Test.”
